- HCF:
- Honey Comb Foundation, used (in the old day's ?) during polishing and figuring.
- Hogging:
- The initial stage of grinding. Mostly done with MOT and COE stroke. During this stage one gets to the required depth quickly, but the shape is far from a sphere.
