r, RC:
Radius of Curvature, twice the focal length !.
 
Resolution:
The resolution of a telescope is its ability to seperate two objects. It is often expressed in arc seconds for two equally bright stars. (It then refers to the minimum angular distance at which the two stars will still be seperated from each other by the telescope)
 
ROC:
Radius of curvature.
 
Rouge:
Ferric Oxide, can be used during polishing and figuring. Most people seem to prefer ZO (Zirconium Oxide) because it is much cleaner in use.
